Ever since I was little, I enjoyed drawing and challenging myself to create new things. I was first exposed to different mediums when I took an art class my junior year of high school. Seeing that I enjoyed painting, my mom encouraged me to continue taking lessons. Since then, I have received my BFA, studying design and production with an emphasis in lighting design. (You can read more about my lighting design story here.) I now continue to pursue both of my passions by painting with lights and traditional mediums. In both forms of painting, I hope to tell a story that both engulfs the atmosphere and evokes emotions. I achieve this through use of both color and form in addition to creativity and passion to bring more beauty into this world.

Clara is an artist who enjoys using both light and fine art to express herself. Her designs evoke both the beauty and effervescence of life. In her paintings she uses mixed media such as pastels, acrylics, and oil paints. Her artwork inspires others to live passionately and freely in the moment. Through symbols and color, she expresses love, hope, authenticity, and wonder.
